Writing Papers

I just realized how much I truly suck at papers. Especially those of the analytical variety. I tried all last year to write a good paper, and only succeeded once, and not during the a.p. exam. The thing is, mainstream classes are geared for those who need lots of help, a.p. classes are geared towards passing the exam, so that only the things the graders are looking for are taught, not really good writing. This is particularly frustrating right now, because I'm writing a paper as part of an application process, and don't have anyone to read it for me, and tell me what I'm doing wrong, cuz I know it's not good, but I really want it to be good. Grrr!!!
